- Allows open ended wires to be connected to any aftermarket three-wire, 12-V radio and then connected directly into the designated cab harness point included in base.
- Operators using business band/CB radio in their cab will find the CommandView 4 cabs come prewired with antenna coax, power connector, and an NMO antenna base. When wiring the business band radio, this pig-tail connector can be hard wired to the constant power, switched power, and ground wires. It can then be connected directly to the cab base harness power connection point without any cutting or modification, eliminating any need to run new power wires from the fuse panel.
- These connection points are located under the upper right console next to the open storage tray and mirror/wiper controls, making for a clean install in the cab. The operator only needs to supply the radio unit and NMO style antenna of their choice.
