  • John Deere mulching systems use durable blades designed to chop grass into very small particles. The mulch that is distributed across the lawn will turn to feed, eliminating the need for bagging. This improves efficiency by reducing cleanup time.
  • This Grass Mulching Kit designed for the John Deere 1600 Turbo Series II and III Wide‑Area Mowers.
  • It is a full mulching conversion kit that installs onto the existing mower decks on these machines. This allows operators to keep clippings inside of the mower deck so they are cut into finer particles, rather than discharging large clumps.
