- John Deere mulching systems use durable blades designed to chop grass into very small particles. The mulch that is distributed across the lawn will turn to feed, eliminating the need for bagging. This improves efficiency by reducing cleanup time.
- The MulchControl™ baffle is opened and closed using a lever on top of the mower deck.
- Steel baffles control material and close off the discharge area.
- Special mulching blades are included to optimize mulching performance
- These blades can also be used for side-discharging or material collection (if a material collection system is available), though performance may be reduced in some conditions.
